Now that we are officially in the heat of wedding season we wanted to feature our first ‘Corinne Couple Wedding’. Yes, the bride happens to be our cousin. And, yes we’re talking about the woman formally known as “the other” Aly Blumenthal. Favoritism aside, their love, and their wedding bling are too good not to share.
When Jesse and Aly met, it was love at first sight. No joke! Even though the logistics of their relationship weren’t simple, they kept on, knowing that what they had was real. Before too long, Jesse asked Aly that one very important question, it was a whirlwind Time Square proposal; the kind that every girl dreams about.
Having witnessed their love first hand, I can say with certainty that the fairy tale proposal, and their stunning wedding day are just the beginning. These two have a beautiful future together {tissue, please}, and at Corinne Jewelers we feel honored that we have been able to contribute to their commitment in such a big way …
THE RING
If you ask me, the best part of jewelry is its sentimental value. Aly must agree because when she was lucky enough to receive stones from both of her grandmothers she knew that they had to be incorporated into her wedding set! With the help of Allyson from our Corinne Custom Department, Jesse was able to remount Aly’s grandmother’s insanely beautiful emerald-cut diamond. When it came time to create the perfect wedding band, once again we were able to create a one-of-a-kind band using the “recycled” diamonds from her other grandmother.
THE DAY-OF PRESENT
All of the Blumenthal family members have matching Chai necklaces, created by Ryan’s father, Craig. With the wedding fast approaching, Aly knew the best way to welcome Jesse to the family would be passing on her grandfather, Mel’s, Chai necklace. We were able to clean it up, rework its bale, and put it on a new chain more appropriate for Jesse’ style. When the day came, Jesse was very moved to receive such a meaningful gift.
In return, Jesse wanted to spoil Aly with something beautiful that she would be able to wear both casually, as well as on their fancy date nights. After considering many options, he went with Hearts on Fire diamond cluster earrings, appropriately named Beloved. Jesse clearly understands the concept of “Happy Wife, Happy Life”. Woohoo!
THE FLOWER GIRL GIFT
Aly and Jesse were so sweet to ask our daughters and niece to be their flower girls. Along with monogram robes and flower crowns, Aly and Jesse went one step further. They had monogramed bracelets with their wedding date made for each of the girls. It was so sweet to watch their little eyes light up when Aly put the bracelets on their wrists for the ceremony. We especially love how they will be able to have the bracelets forever.
